‘Underserved, Overlooked: How our health systems are failing women and girls with a bleeding disorder’ is a report from the Haemophilia Society, exploring the standards of healthcare and associated services for women and girls with a bleeding disorder.
The report examines existing research alongside new case studies to identify the gaps in knowledge, data and understanding and highlight shortcomings within the existing healthcare system. It also presents a series of recommendations on how this can be addressed.
Our hope is to begin a conversation on the urgent reforms needed to ensure these women and girls are no longer overlooked.
