The Haemophilia Society is a dynamic organisation committed to providing first-class support to, and advocating for better access to care for, people with bleeding disorders. 

As a small but ambitious team, the work is both challenging and rewarding and we are always on the lookout for experts in their discipline to join our team located at offices near London Bridge.

We are currently seeking a Community & Events Fundraiser, a Volunteer Manager and a Digital Communications Executive to join our small, dynamic team based near London Bridge.

The Community & Events Fundraiser is an exciting role and would be perfect for someone looking for their next step in fundraising. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing our community fundraising, managing several key events such as the London Marathon and Ride London and being a contact point for all our supporters and their events and activities.

The Volunteer Manager is an exciting new role enabling us to build upon our current volunteer activity and develop a robust and structured volunteering policy and process.

In this role you will build on the work we already do with our volunteers and local groups around the UK and ensure we can recruit and involve volunteers in an extensive range of activities which are engaging and highly valued, whilst being supported and developed in the role.

We are seeking a Digital Communications Executive to promote the vision, values and activities of the charity in order to grow our profile, membership and supporter numbers across the UK. 

The Digital Communications Executive will work closely with the small team at The Haemophilia Society to ensure a positive, engaging, consistent, regular and effective programme of online communication.

Board of Trustees

Trustees are volunteers who draw on personal experience of living with a bleeding disorder, or wider knowledge and expertise in e.g. charity governance, fundraising, finance, communication, advocacy, understanding of the NHS or government relations.

The Society’s board of trustees meets six times each year to give strategic direction to our work. Trustees are responsible for governing our organisation, and as a smaller charity, they make a real difference to what we do.
