Helen is a passionate business owner from Sunderland and advocate for equal treatment and mental health support, particularly for those living with bleeding disorders. Diagnosed with Factor V deficiency at birth, Helen has turned personal adversity into a driving force for positive change, promoting awareness and the importance of both physical and mental health support.
As the proud owner of a thriving dance school, Helen has built a career around fostering creativity, discipline, and the importance of living an active lifestyle. As a trustee of the Haemophilia society, Helen aims to help support families through the challenges of managing a bleeding disorder as well as advocating for equitable access to specialised treatments and therapies. By working towards a more inclusive healthcare environment the hope for the future is that all patients will receive the care and support that they deserve.
