VWD Day takes place in Southampton on Saturday 28 January 2023.

A whole day is dedicated to von Willebrand disorder (also known as von Willebrand disease or VWD) for the first time. Specialist speakers will be on hand to talk through the latest news and views.

The day will also be a great opportunity to meet others with similar experiences, particularly if you are affected by VWD.

Hotel details:

Wheelchair accessible.

Air-conditioned, free Wi-Fi and restaurant.

Complimentary day parking is available. Overnight is chargeable at £10 per car per night. Electric vehicle charging station. Penalty charge notices are issued when a vehicle has not been registered with the hotel.

In Southampton’s centre, this Novotel looks over the port and is just 450 yards from Southampton Central Rail Station.


Hotel accommodation

There are 10 double bed and breakfast rooms available for the Friday night costing £95 each (this is a preferential rate; for sole occupancy). Should you like to reserve one of the rooms, you are responsible for booking and paying for your own accommodation. Each reservation will need to be guaranteed using your personal credit/debit card. After confirming the booking, you can still cancel free of charge up to 7 days before the arrival date.

Bedrooms that have not been booked will be released from the allocation on the 23rd December and the preferential rates will no longer be available.
