Winter Wellbeing Appeal

Help us ensure everyone with a bleeding disorder has access to emotional and mental support.

Having access to a full suite of comprehensive care, including support for mental wellbeing, is essential for people with or affected by a bleeding disorder, and can make a huge difference to their quality of life. But for some knowing that it is available and that you are entitled to ask for it, is not often communicated to them.

For many people living with or affected by a bleeding disorder, feelings of isolation and anxiety are nothing new, but have got worse since the start of the pandemic.

A gift from you could help usensure everyone with a bleeding disorder who needs or wants emotional support can access it. Through the development of guidelines for seeking out and asking for support, a members’ forum, and creating a series of events and support groups, we will empower our community to take control of their mental wellbeing. The results could be truly life-changing.

How your generosity could help people get support.

£10 could help pay for a webinar series on how to manage your mental wellbeing at home, to help curb the anxieties that come from having a bleeding disorder.

£25 could help us create an information booklet about how to seek out and ask for emotional support.

£50 could help us develop an online forum, which would be a safe and confidential space for people with and affected by bleeding disorders to share their struggles with their emotional wellbeing.
