Scottish Government in talks about UK support payments – but no meeting with Minister

Written by Aaron Dennis, October 28, 2020

Our colleagues at Haemophilia Scotland have received the following update from Nicola Sturgeon, First Minister of Scotland.

In it, Ms Sturgeon says Scottish Government officials have taken part in conversations with the rest of the UK about how to increase parity of support but that there has been no meeting involving the Paymaster General, The Rt. Hon Penny Mordaunt MP. The Scottish Government has not been involved in any conversations about a compensation framework.
