  • Thrilling activities: There’s something for everyone, from zip-lining to high ropes.
  • Expert care: Our team includes haemophilia nurses and a physiotherapist.
  • Safe and inclusive environment: We prioritise your well-being and create a supportive space.
  • Location: Located near London, they offer the peace of a woodland area, beautiful surroundings, and a wide variety of activities across 108 acres. This gives young people the chance to experience the freedom of the outdoors.

Accommodation and Meals

  • Comfortable lodges with en-suite bathrooms.
  • Shared rooms will be based on gender and age. Siblings cannot share rooms unless they are in the same age group. (Groups are divided into 9-11 years and 12-15 years).
  • A sleeping bag and pillow are required.
  • Delicious meals catered to dietary needs (please inform us of any allergies). We can only provide meals provided by Scouts Adventures Centre catering team.

Important Information

  • We aim to be inclusive but cannot provide one-on-one supervision for children with special needs.
  • Due to over-subscription, priority will be given to first-time attendees.
  • Applying for youth camp does NOT guarantee your child a place. Places are limited.
  • You must be a member of the Haemophilia Society to attend this event. (If you are not already a member, please submit a membership application here)

When will I hear if my child/ren can attend camp?

  • Successful applicants will be notified in March 2025. If not successful, your child will be placed on a waiting list.
  • We hold the right to close applications earlier than planned if we are over-subscribed.

Payment

  • This event costs the Haemophilia Society £500 per child. With the rising costs of holding this event, funding restrictions and past last-minute cancellations, we now require an upfront contribution per child. If you receive an offer and choose to accept it, we will request a partial payment to secure your child’s spot. We understand financial commitments can be challenging, so we will offer a payment plan.

Ready for an adventure? Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity!

Applications open in January 2025.
