Scott McLean

Fundraiser & Member Advocate

My name is Scott and I have severe haemophilia A. I was diagnosed at eight months old, but I have always tried to live a normal life and prove that haemophilia doesn’t have to hold you back. I like to try and push the boundaries when it comes to the condition, whether from getting a new tattoo or piercing to taking part in tough mudder challenges.

A few years ago, I decided to create my own page, ‘Unclottable,’ to share my experience with others and raise awareness of people with bleeding disorders. Fortunately, this led me to the Haemophilia Society. After meeting the team and seeing the charity’s work first-hand, I wanted to be involved in any way I could.

With years of experience in sales and business development, I joined the Haemophilia Society as a Fundraiser & Member Advocate.
