Rayaz has severe haemophilia A and also arthropathy in a number of joints. Rayaz lives in the North West of England, he is happily married with two young children.
Rayaz has worked in the NHS for nearly twenty years, with the last 10 years focusing on operational management. Rayaz has been a member of the Haemophilia Society for nearly two decades and the society has always been there if ever he has needed support, advice or just someone to talk to.
Managing a bleeding disorder is challenging; Rayaz believes the society can and does play an integral role in supporting the haemophilia community.
To be part of an organisation that makes a difference is a real privilege.
