Welcome to our new live webinar events

We’re launching a new series of webinars that looks at issues affecting people with a bleeding disorder and their families.

The first Bleeding Matters Live! event, ‘Contaminated blood: a global perspective’, takes place on Thursday (9 July) at 6pm BST.

Everyone is welcome, regardless of whether you are personally infected or affected by the contaminated blood scandal.

Taking part will be David Page (Canadian Hemophilia Society) and Brian O’Mahoney (Irish Haemophilia Society) who will talk about how the scandal was handled in Canada and Ireland. Also, Clive Smith (The Haemophilia Society UK) will speak about the journey to get the UK’s Infected Blood Inquiry, which opened in 2018.
