Watch ‘Contaminated blood: a global perspective’
Written by Aaron Dennis, July 14, 2020
The first webinar in our Bleeding Matters Live! series is now available to watch.
The hour-long webinar, Contaminated blood: a global perspective, discusses how public inquiries into the scandal were handled in Canada and Ireland and whether any lessons can be learnt in the UK.
It features Brian O’Mahoney from the Irish Haemophilia Society and David Page from the Canadian Haemophilia Society as well as Clive Smith, chair of The Haemophilia Society UK.

Join us on Thursday, 23 July at 6pm for Contaminated blood in the UK: to the inquiry and beyond – the second in our Bleeding Matters Live! series. We’ll look at the history of the Infected Blood Inquiry, discuss what happens next and ask what the final report might achieve. Everyone is welcome.
Details of how to join the meeting via Zoom will be available on our website soon.
