Rare & Unclassified Bleeding Disorders Day
People affected by rare or unclassified bleeding disorders can feel some of the most isolated in our community, but this is a chance to get together and explore your unique issues. Speakers will also share their expertise.
Topics so far include :
The diagnosis and management of rare bleeding disorders
How to become an expert patient – self-advocacy.
European Rare and Inhibitor Network (ERIN) – living with an ultra rare bleeding disorder
Dr Gill Lowe, Consultant in Haemostasis and Thrombosis University Hospital Birmingham
Julia Spires, Haemophilia Clinical Nurse Specialist, Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, London
Kristine Jansone, European Haemophilia Consortium
The day will also be a great opportunity to meet others with similar experiences, particularly if you are affected by rare bleeding disorders.
