London Marathon 2025

Marathon Day next year is Sunday 27 April 2025.

The London Marathon is one of the greatest running events in the world, and you could be a part of it.

There are 2 ways you can enter the London Marathon 2025 and run for the Haemophilia Society (THS), raising money for people living with bleeding disorders,

THS charity places

Registration fee £100. Minimum fundraising target £2000

Applications for our 2025 London Marathon charity places are now open! Complete the form below and we’ll review your application in due course. As a small charity, THS has extremely limited charity places each year, so we ask anyone interested in running for our charity to fill out our application form. This helps us shortlist all interested supporters and choose our runners for 2025.

We expect to receive an extremely large volume of applications and reserve the right to close applications once we’ve received enough – so be sure to get in quick if you want to apply!

We will review all applications and inform everyone if they have been successful after the ballot results have been announced. If successful, you will be able to link to our JustGiving London Marathon campaign page, get support from THS to help you with your fundraising targets and receive a free personalised THS running vest or T-shirt!

    Terms and Conditions

    Please read carefully

Thank you for considering taking part in the London Marathon to raise money for the Haemophilia Society (THS). THS has a limited number of Golden Bond places for this event. If your application is successful, you pledge to run the London Marathon 2025 and raise at least £2000 for THS through JustGiving, linking to the THS JustGiving campaign page. I understand that the minimum fundraising pledge of £2000 to be raised for THS applies per person. Your application will be subject to a selection process so that THS can ensure that Golden Bond places are used to best-possible effect.

Once your place has been confirmed we will ask you to pay a registration fee of £100 no later than 14 days after your place is confirmed. Failure to do so may result in you losing your place unless you have agreed otherwise with THS in advance. If you drop out for any reason your registration fee is non-refundable and cannot be rolled over to next year or another event.

If offered a THS charity place, you agree to wear the THS branded running t-shirt or vest while participating in the London Marathon.

THS does not take responsibility for any health issues during your training for the London Marathon or any incidents that occur on race day. If you have any health concerns prior to, or during, your training please consult with your doctor/physio.

THS reserves the right to refuse an application at its absolute discretion.

You must be 18 years or over on the day of the race.

If you are unable to participate in the event for any reason, all donated monies collected in support of THS must be forwarded to the charity or returned to the individual sponsors. Monies already received by the charity will not be refunded.

If you wish to withdraw for any reason after the official registration has closed, please contact THS before the day of the run. It is important that you do not take part in the marathon unless you are completely fit to do so. If you wish to defer your place to the following year, please make THS aware as soon as possible so that a decision can be made and a place reserved for you if necessary.

When THS establishes contact described as "urgent", runners must respond via email/telephone/in writing as quickly as possible.

By signing up to London Marathon you are consenting to THS using any images taken on the day of the Marathon in our promotional materials. Please contact us in advance of the event if you are unhappy with this arrangement.

I have read and understood the terms and conditions above and would like to apply for a THS Golden Bond place. I acknowledge that, upon acceptance, I am undertaking a pledge to raise £2000 for THS by the day of the London Marathon.
