In association with Haemophilia Scotland
We’ve teamed up with Haemophilia Scotland to bring you the biggest Bridge Walk challenge around. Come with us as we criss-cross the River Clyde on eight of its charming bridges: Millennium, Bells, Squinty, King George V, Glasgow, Portland Street Suspension Bridge, Victoria and Albert Bridge. A starting location will be confirmed in due course.
The Big Red Bridge Walk Glasgow covers around 16km and will cross each bridge and then loop back again in the opposite direction. But don’t worry – you can mix it up and choose your own pace and distance to meet your ideal walking level.
Sign-up solo or with your family or get some friends together to form a team. There will also be the opportunity at the end to socialise with your fellow Bridge-Walkers with snacks and drinks!
How does it work?
There is no minimum sponsorship or registration fee, simply sign-up using the form below and we’ll send you a series of useful hints to prepare for your walk, as well as digital resources to help you boost your fundraising.
Ask your friends and family for support
Set-up a JustGiving page. There is no minimum fundraising target, but we suggest that you aim for £160 – that’s £10 per kilometre.
Why take part?
More than 36,000 men, women and children in the UK have a diagnosed bleeding disorder and the number rises every year. By joining this challenge, you will help us raise the funds we need to ensure every one of these people is supported.
