Putting your mental health first is not selfish. It’s important to show as much care and kindness to yourself as you would to others. Mind – the mental health charity have shared 5 Ways to Wellbeing which are easy to follow and incorporate into all of our lives.
You can even support THS at the same time!
Be active – walk, run, swim, cycle or skip your way around the world!
Connect – our Events Team can put you in touch with people in your local area; giving you the chance to meet new people and increase your chances of being the first team to get around the world.
Take notice – take some time to enjoy the moment and the environment around you as you make you way ‘around the world’
Learn – World Haemophilia Day unites the global bleeding disorders community. Why not research one of the countries your route passes through?
Give – Individuals who report a greater interest in helping others are more likely to rate themselves as happy. RATW helps everyone living with a bleeding disorder by raising awareness, funds and proving we are stronger together!
