It’s World Haemophilia Day on Saturday 17 April and we would love you to join us in marking this important day!
The theme this year is: Adapting to Change, sustaining care in a new world
This important event is about bringing the global bleeding disorders community together. With the COVID-19 pandemic having a major impact on people with a bleeding disorder, that objective has never been more important.
The world has changed greatly over the last year, but one thing hasn’t: we are still in this together, and we will always be stronger together as a community in our shared vision of “Treatment for All”
Here’s a round-up of what you can do to show your support!
- Share your story – using one of these statements on this simple form:
“Living with a bleeding disorder in lockdown has taught me…”
“Caring for someone living with a bleeding disorder in lockdown has taught me…”
“Treating bleeding disorders in lockdown has taught me…”
- Host a virtual Buddies Who Brunch
Put on something red, find your favourite pan and join us for the weekend of fun, food, photography and fundraising! Invite friends and family to a virtual brunch and ask them to donate whatever they can to attend.

You can take on a challenge as an individual or within a team of friends, family or colleagues, following social distancing and other current restrictions.
