Big Red London Bridge Walk
Big Red London Bridge Walk!
You can join us on the London Walk in October, or do your own virtual event using materials we send you: We are aiming to host a smaller Big Red London Bridge Walk, restrictions permitted, walk across eight London Bridges, raise awareness of genetic bleeding disorders and catch up with members of our community! We would love if you could join us on the walk and help us start a new season of face to face events!
There is no minimum sponsorship or registration fee, and we will reward everyone who raises £150 or over with an item from our exciting merchandise selection.
The eight iconic bridges that you would pass on the Big Red London Bridge Walk are:
- Waterloo Bridge
- Millennium Bridge
- London Bridge
- Tower Bridge
- Southwark Bridge
- Blackfriars Bridge
- Hungerford Bridge
- Westminster Bridge
You can measure the distance with your smart phone, using one of the many available apps (such as Google maps, MapMyWalk, Walkmeter, Fitbit, etc.), or a good old fashioned pedometer. If you are a planner you can decide on the exact route in advance, or just wing it and see where the path takes you.
To help you with your challenge and fundraising we will provide you with a fundraising pack, including a welcome letter, fundraising tips, sponsorship form, social media post templates and a T-shirt.
If you don’t require a T-shirt, we can send you all the the materials via email.
Show your support for our bleeding community and sign up today! We are excited to see who can take the most original bridge picture, who completes the route in the shortest time and who chooses the most scenic route. You don’t even have to do the walk in London so anyone and everyone can join in wherever you are!
There is no registration fee if you choose our printable pack, and a £6 registration fee for a physical pack including a T-shirt to cover our basic costs.
Every penny raised will help us to continue to provide our vital services, including our Newly Diagnosed Family Weekends, our Youth Camps, our Women’s Awareness Programme, Ageing Conference, Service of Thanksgiving and Remembrance, and advocating for improved treatment and care.
Drop us an email at email@example.com to sign up today and help us to continue our work!
