Join us for a memorable camping weekend packed with activities, entertainment and workshops for all members of the bleeding disorders community in the beautiful woodlands of central Derbyshire.

HaemFest offers you the chance to meet people with bleeding disorders of all ages from around the UK, to enjoy a weekend of fun, friendship and experience-sharing in the great outdoors. Taking place at Golden Valley Caravan and Camping Park, Coach Rd, Golden Valley, Riddings, Alfreton DE55 4ES, from Friday 16 June, noon to Sunday 18 June, 2pm.

Admission is FREE, though you will need to complete an Eventbrite booking (see link below) so we know who is coming. If you are staying in a tent, there are no campsite costs and you will camp on the rally field. If you are planning to stay in your caravan or motorhome, then regular campsite fees apply, you will camp on the main caravan park and you will also need to book your space directly with Golden Valley Caravan and Camping Park (see below for more details).

THS camping area will be located on the rally field. This is opposite the main caravan park (where caravans and motorhomes will be camping) and is approximately a short 5-minute walk down the lane and across a main road. The rally field has its own newly-built amenity block consisting of heated toilets and showers, pot wash room and a large upstairs function room. Please supervise children at all times when moving between the rally field and main caravan park. The activities will be taking place on the rally field.

There is a cafe on the main caravan park. However, this can get very busy during peak hours with wait times of up to 1 hour for food to be ready. We advise members to bring their own food as well. Takeaways can be ordered from local towns nearby. If ordering food to the rally field, please give delivery instructions to the restaurant. Otherwise, their delivery driver will bring your order to the main caravan park instead of the rally field.

You will not be allowed to keep your car parked beside your tent on the rally field. Cars MUST be kept off the grass. If the weather is dry and you have been told to do so, you may unload your cars then put them in the car park. The car park is situated right beside the rally field. There is also a car park on the main caravan park.
