Race around the world with our Yorkshire local group

Written by Aaron Dennis, March 9, 2021

Our Yorkshire local group has recently reformed with an aim to raise awareness of bleeding disorders, develop local support networks, generate funds for future events alongside providing funding for a portable ultrasound unit for the children’s service to improve joint health and knowledge.

They have launched Race Around the World, where patients, carers, families and health care professionals are hoping to complete the whole 24,000 miles in just 60 days, finishing on World Haemophilia Day – 17 April 2021. They are running, walking, cycling and exercising and adding their miles together to virtually cross the globe by this year’s World Haemophilia Day. The team has already completed over 9,000 miles!
