Written by Aaron Dennis, January 7, 2021

Following the official Government guidance giving the COVID-19 vaccine and to people with bleeding disorders some of our members have been in touch with their questions.

Here you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions we have received: COVID-19 frequently-asked-questions/ We will update this page as we get any further guidance or advice.

The latest Guidance from the World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH), European Association for Haemophilia and Allied Disorders (EAHAD), European Haemophilia Consortium (EHC), and U.S. National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF) can be found here

Please do get in touch with your haemophilia centre if you require any further information about the vaccine.

The COVID-19 vaccine is only available through the NHS to eligible groups and it is a free vaccine. The NHS will let you know when it’s your turn to have the vaccine. It’s important not to contact the NHS for a vaccine before then. COVID-19 vaccines are currently NOT licensed for use in children.
