Deep in the historic Nottinghamshire countryside, Sherwood Forest sits in 400 acres of magnificent pine forest. A mix of woodland, lake and wild meadows makes for an enchanting environment in which to relax, explore and spend quality time together.
It is a fantastic opportunity to get to know other families in similar situations and for your children to meet others with a bleeding disorder. There will be talks from one of our Youth Ambassadors and Local Groups representatives, sessions by a Haemophilia Nurse, Physio and occasionally a Dr and Social worker with a creche for your children to attend.
The cost of the weekend is completely free other than your transport to get there. You will have breakfast packs provided with lunch and dinner catered for.
All volunteers and staff leave Sunday after lunch but you have the option to stay the Sunday night for free and check out Monday morning, giving you and your family some much needed free time to enjoy all that Center Parcs has to offer.
